José Mourinho continues to make history in Spanish football.

Following Real Madrid's convincing 3-0 victory over Valencia at the Mestalla, the Portuguese manager reached an impressive milestone: 97 wins in 126 La Liga matches, giving him a remarkable 77% win rate.

That puts him ahead of Pep Guardiola (76.3%), Carlo Ancelotti (71.1%) and Zinedine Zidane (67.8%) among managers with at least 100 La Liga appearances.

Only Hansi Flick currently boasts a higher percentage, with 79.3% from 87 matches.

Madrid's latest victory came through goals from Federico Valverde, Arda Güler and Kylian Mbappé, extending their winning streak to eight consecutive matches across all competitions.
