FIFA Football Agent CPD Requirements 2025/26
Every licensed FIFA football agent must complete at least 20 CPD credits in each CPD year, which runs 1 October – 30 September. Credits come from official courses on the FIFA Agent Platform, each ending in an assessment you must pass with 80%. Miss the deadline and the licence is suspended.

Know whether CPD applies to you
Continuing Professional Development is a condition of holding a FIFA football agent licence, not an optional extra. Everyone who passed the exam and holds an active licence completes it, every CPD year, for as long as the licence is held.
It applies from your first full CPD year as a licensed agent. It is separate from the exam: passing once does not exempt you from anything afterwards.
Complete at least 20 CPD credits
The minimum is 20 CPD credits per CPD year. Credits are attached to the individual courses published on the FIFA Agent Platform — each course carries its own credit value, and you combine courses until you reach the minimum.
Courses end in an assessment. You need at least 80% to pass one and be awarded its credits, so the credits you have "started" and the credits you have banked are not the same number.
Only FIFA awards official CPD credits. No third-party course, webinar or preparation platform — including this one — can grant them.
Finish before the CPD year ends — 30 September 2026
The CPD year runs 1 October – 30 September, so it does not follow the calendar year. The current cycle is 2025/26, and it closes on 30 September 2026.
Credits do not roll over. Anything earned after the cycle closes counts towards the next one, which is why a shortfall discovered in late September cannot be fixed by working through October.
Keep the mandatory minors course current
Representing minors requires a specific, mandatory CPD course, and it does not last forever: it must be renewed every 3 years.
This is the requirement agents most often lose track of, because it is on a different clock from the annual credit count — an agent can be fully compliant on credits and still lapse on minors accreditation.
Pay the annual licence fee and report your status
CPD is one of two annual obligations. The other is the annual licence fee paid to FIFA; a complete CPD record does not keep a licence active on its own if the fee is outstanding.
Both are handled on the FIFA Agent Platform, which remains the official record of your licence status.
Understand what happens if you miss it
Failing to complete the CPD requirement leads to automatic provisional suspension. If the shortfall is not remedied within 60 days, the licence is automatically withdrawn.
Withdrawal is not a fine or a warning — it ends your ability to operate as a licensed agent, and returning means going back through the licensing process. The consequence is severe enough that tracking the deadline is worth doing deliberately rather than from memory.
The 2025/26 cycle closes on 30 September 2026. The next one, 2026/27, opens the following day — so a credit earned on 1 October counts towards 2026/27, not the year that has just ended.
